Jenny Bio

Jenny D’Angelo, scribe for the Angels, poet and healer. She receives the messages, which have been a source of succor, upliftment, strength, comfort, and most especially love. The Angels’ love penetrates her body, her mind, and her intellect. She has come into a love of herself that was not possible before. This is what she wishes for all to receive from the Angels.

Born and raised in Massachusetts, Jenny has been involved with words and spirituality all of her life. She attended U. Mass in Amherst, where she obtained a Bachelor’s degree in English. She did graduate course work at St. Hilda’s College, Oxford, England.

She was initiated into the practice of Transcendental Meditation in 1970. After becoming a teacher she was invited to be the international editor for Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who brought TM out into the world. She lived in his ashram in Switzerland for seven years.

After the silence of the ashram, she met her beloved mentor, Dorie D’Angelo in 1981. Internationally known as the “Angel Lady of Carmel,” Dorie was the first person to bring the angelic vibration down into the mainstream. Her book, Living with Angels, is considered a classic in the field. Dorie adopted Jenny as granddaughter/next of kin, beloved of the Angels. Dorie passed directly into her heart the pure love of the Angels and their unwavering, unconditional care.

Deepening her spiritual practice, Jenny had the privilege of sitting with the Dalai Lama, Amma, Gurumayi, and American-born spiritual teacher, Gangaji, in the lineage of Ramana Maharshi. The essential heart practice of self-inquiry was a diamond turning in her. She had clear and deep experiences when she sat in the company of these saints and teachers.

She studied many methods of healing and bodywork directly from their creators. Modalities include Zero Balancing, Rosen Method bodywork, New Decision Therapy, Process Acupressure. In the desert of Arizona, she stood in circle with the remarkable Drunvalo Melchizedek, participating in the healing of Earth and Sky. Jenny has maintained a healing practice on the central coast for more than 30 years.

On a parallel timeline, she was a freelance editor and proofreader for many of the small presses in northern California. She worked primarily on spiritual texts written for the general public.

As a published poet, angel carrier and healer, she has given presentations in the U.S., Switzerland, Denmark, the Netherlands, Italy, Norway, and Sweden.

In 2011 she reconnected with the modern mystic and Rumi explicator Andrew Harvey. He ignited this Angel project and encouraged her as the messages began to unfold. His support and encouragement made the book a reality.

Of her mission with the Angels, Jenny says:

My life has been dedicated to light, truth, and direct experience.

I am humbled and honored to be able to receive these words from the Angels.

I know they are blessings to be shared because they are woven through with light.

Here for everyone to read, to feel the pure, clean vibration of love.

I see the strands of my life integrate in such a profound way as I allow this joyful work to unfold.

Jenny, thank you so much for my daily friend. Each day I let Spirit guide me which page I need to hear/listen to that day, and sure enough, there it is. The book is so deep and full of truth I find that sipping vs gulping works for me. The bite size piece of wisdom and Angelic guidance feeds me and is my daily meditation that I start, and end, each day with. Blessings on you and your work, and thanks for bringing me this work/play into my life.
